Classic 'clangers' from the 70s
May 27th 2011 00:48
Since starting a 'tragic tracks' segment on PopRocks (note of explanation - it's a little radio program I host each Tuesday night) - there has been an explosion of interest for the 'rebirthing' of dozens of truly sorry music.
Now given I'm not the sole arbiter when it comes to deciding what is played and what doesn't make the cut, I'm happy to list those which have so far gone to air as classic clangers - but would love a few more suggestions.
To date we've played The Moir Sisters and Gotta Pull Myself Together, Barry Manilow - I Write The Songs, Bobby Goldsborgh - Honey, Edward Bear - Last Song, Middle of The Road - Chirper Chirper Cheep Cheep, David Soul - Don't Give Up on Us Baby, Morris Albert Feelings, Terry Jacks Seasons In The Sun and Dr Hook's - Silvia's Mother.
Got a cracker again this Tuesday night - but folks - any and all suggestion gratefully accepted - and we'll acknowledge you on air of course!
