Give My Band A Name!
June 16th 2009 22:00
It's not quite The Blues Brothers - but ladies and gentlemen - we're (well I'm) getting the band back together again - for a couple of social gigs.
But we need a name!
To help you along you'll need the necessary information about our make-up.
Firstly - we're a five piece band with the obligatory lead guitar, bass, keyboard and drum along with lead singer (and yes our front man is a woman).
We do a mix of mostly covers but from time to time throw in our own stuff as well and have a bent towards rock and power pop from the 70's through to today - so think a cross between Joan Jett, Blondie and Suzie Quatro and you'll start to get the picture.
Other than that - you have to appreciate that the average age of the guys is in their late 30's and early 40's - which is hardly ancient - but not exactly your teen market either (or perhaps it is?)
Someone had suggested cruelly Rock of Ages - but we're looking from something description yet eclectic - so go hard people . . . hit me with your best shot . . .

You aren't saying old, and you aren't saying rock, but it's there
What's your lead's name? I always liked the whole bob marley and the wailers - style names.
