What is the world's most popular song?

OK - so let's get this out of the way first up - we don't rate "Happy Birthday to You . . . as some stroke of masterclass and melodic genius in spite of The Guinness Book of World Records naming it the most popular song in the English language.
Yes, everyone knows the words, and yes it probably deserves its mantle - but I'm talking radio, movies, 45s, 78s, phonogragh, CDs, downloads - mainstream popular music - everyone from The Andrews Sisters Michael Jackson, Simon and Garfunkel to Glenn Miller, Lady Ga Ga to Bill Haley.
A few friends put forward the following candidates the other day as contenders for the title - but to be honest - I'm not so sure.
In no particular order, five they came up with were;
1) Yesterday by The Beatles
2) Jailhouse Rock by Elvis
3) Imagine by John Lennon
4 ) Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys
5) Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding
So by all means - sing Happy Birthday to your hearts' content, and while you're doing it come up with a few of your personal choices.
