One Hit Wonders of the 80's
May 14th 2009 02:10
OK - so what do the following have in common?
Dexy's Midnight Runners, Bow Wow Wow, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and A Flock of Seagulls?
Give up?
Well ladies and gentlemen - they all make it into the esteemed category of 80's One Hit Wonders.
Soft Cell, The Vapors, Eddie Grant Toni Basil, Tommy Tutone, Bobbie McFerrin - the list goes on and on and on . . . .
And they say the 70's gained fame (or notority) for creating the forgettable!
Perhaps you have a fav from the era that time forgot after the era the time forgot.
If you need a little help - or just want a little taste of the cringe - check out this . . .

Anyone born after 1989.
That leaves me out.
The "greed is good" decade did have to give way for the "Creed" is good decade.
For that reason I'll never forgive the 80s for not going on another decade.
